Job Introduction:

The incumbent will be responsible for handling designated administrative tasks managed in the Procurement department.  The primary requirements of the position are:  Procurement support, data entry, preparing purchase orders, maintaining detailed records, coordinating shipping details with the field offices.

Role Responsibility:


  • Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures in the performance of all procurement duties.
  • Assist team with obtaining quotes for all material and equipment requirements.
  • Reconcile monthly American Express and Visa statements.
  • Work with the Procurement Manager to prepare purchase requisitions and orders.  Maintain files and records of receipt/delivery reports.
  • Follow up on vendor orders to track status and update field of all ordered items.
  • Coordinate shipping requirements with material coordinator for all vendors and on-site project personnel.
  • Organize, control and maintain records of all inventory received and stored for each regional project.
  • Process Supply, Uniform and Box orders
  • Assist with the maintenance of the company’s fleet records.
  • Help maintain data integrity of departments Google Site.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

High school diploma or GED is the minimum requirement.  An Associate’s degree in Business or a technical field is preferred.  One year of purchasing and inventory control experience is preferred.  Experience with Microsoft Windows application software is required, i.e., Word, Excel, etc.  The selected candidate must possess a valid driver’s license.



Communicates effectively in both oral and written English technical language, both in interpreting requirements and providing reports.  Must possess good customer service abilities along with refined grammar skills.  The position may require a lot of interaction with other departments and field employees and outside calls are frequently fielded and must be handled in a professional manner.



Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  On occasion the ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.



While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to sit; use hand and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The incumbent is occasionally required to stand for long periods of time.  The incumbent may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.  And occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.



While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office environment.  There is low to moderate noise in this work environment.  Business casual dress is required.
