Job Introduction:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of service technicians dedicated to the ongoing support of our existing customer base. Will be responsible to ensure customer SLA’s are being met, analyze performance matrix and customer feedback and implement/modify processes to improve overall customer satisfaction. Candidate will be responsible to drive customer satisfaction while increasing overall profitability of the service group.

Role Responsibility:

  • Monitor daily service calls (utilizing current business systems implemented) to ensure customers are receiving prompt response and call resolution. Goal is to provide world class service to our customers.
  • Monitor technician performance and drive efficient utilization.
  • Monitor technician expenses and costs associated with service contract fulfillment to ensure maximum profitability.
  • Create and monitor technician development/training plan. Ensure we are attracting, developing and retaining top level technicians.
  • Interface with customers to ensure performance exceeds expectation and to make sure customers changing needs are being met.
  • Assist with service billing and service support contract questions/issues.
  • Ensure all technicians have completed and comply with all corporate safety programs.
  • Assist with the hiring and onboarding of new technicians.
  • Meet with technicians regularly to ensure they are being kept up to date on corporate initiatives, news, goals and activities.
  • Ensure quality service is being delivered constantly and consistently at the most reasonable cost possible.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Associates degree in electronics, business, engineering or related field.
  • Five years of supervisory experience in security service or related field.
  • Strong leadership, customer service and team building skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office and strong desktop PC skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of business finances.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering and construction drawings and specifications, common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and other documents.  Communicates effectively in both oral and written English technical language, both in interpreting requirements and providing reports.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to sit; use hand and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The incumbent is occasionally required to stand for long periods of time.  The incumbent may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.  And occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent regularly will split time between work in the local office and on customer sites.  Some travel may be required.
